上礼拜就登记今天打流感预防针, 钱也交了. 昨天忽然听说疫苗紧缺要配给. 跟我们公司签约的机构来不及反悔, 今天就去打了针. 一个同事一边排队一边问我有无良心谴责, 他费了好大劲找借口原谅自己. 我耸耸肩道: 我的良心上已经给我涂鸭得斑斑点点, 多一点也没所谓.

啊，你们动作真快。我今年几乎忘掉这回事，是儿科诊所来信提醒了才去约的，要十天后给两个孩子打。公司以往都给员工提供免费疫苗针，现在还没看到通知。
新闻上说紧缺是因为Chiron在利物铺的厂子被关了。送货的是Aventis.我的感觉是几乎年年都闹缺疫苗的事儿。今年的流感来得早来得凶，已经有几名儿童身亡了。

I personally don't know if the flu shots will work this year because they didn't last year. One of my coworker got sick several days ago because his kids got sick from daycare, although he already had flu shot.

And there are tons of discussions in the parenting board from where I work about whether to have flu shots for kids younger than certain age.

I never believe in those shots so I have never taken the shots.

Your coworker might just had another virus infection not necessary the flu. Flu shot doesn't prevent common cold at all.
