J Crew 跟 Mad Men 挂钩好像已有时日。前阵子我去商场逛的时候路过一家 J Crew，就看见一张巨幅的 Don Draper 照片挂在橱窗里。

Banana Republic前一阵子新品促销，也打着Mad Men Style的旗号。模特都摆着S形，胸是胸，腰是腰的，像Joan出现在每一家的宣传册子上。

Dr. Faye Miller 以后一定是个麻烦。说实话我觉得她跟 Don 其实没太多化学作用，不过现在这样恐怕是为了将来的戏剧冲突铺垫吧？注意到开始说起她的皮肤很凉，我肯定这是有象征意义的，是说她这人性格冷。但是很奇怪，虽然我不喜欢她，但我很理解她在结尾那段儿的烦恼，甚至有点同情的感觉。

现在每一集都节奏好快，里面塞了好多情节。

波士顿和 Brooklyn 的口音是不同的，在这集里同时出现：追求 Peggy 的男生是 Brooklyn 口音，而 Filmore 汽车零件商三个中年男是波士顿口音。Dr. Miller 也有口音但是我不知道是哪里的。

我没特别不喜欢她。不过老觉得她思想太超前，整个象现在的纽约典型职业女性穿越回去的，太会阅读别人，太爱贴标签，太defensive. 不过看看她怎么（试图）驯服don 也会挺有趣的

我是不喜欢这个女人的，不过编剧导演要加她的戏，也有办法让观众慢慢地同情她。上集她在打电话时的失控，露出了Vulnerable的一面，就让Don对她感兴趣跟她date.

dr miller 对Don 老是有保留，划界限，搞的alpha 男心痒痒的挑起了好胜心。

don 停止烂喝酒之后恢复了几分神采，追女人从＇穿裙子就上＇回到了＇勇往直前＇。他敢随便就把dr miller 单独留在家里, 落落大方让人喜欢.

追求 Peggy 的男生是 Brooklyn 口音

这人口音很轻，所以peggy 才要问他一句。难道peggy 真的要跟女人赶一下六七十年代的时髦？我好兴奋！

。peggy 这个追求者，褐褐蛰蛰藏头露尾, 一脸怕被拒绝的菘样, 多看一眼都觉得烦！还写一酸不拉讥的长文，还非要peggy 读，我都想替peggy撕了他的臭拽。然后peggy 果然读完就给愤怒的撕了。

As a character Dr. Miller is interesting enough. I don't like the Don-Faye relationship, because it feels like Don is going backward and pursuing icy blonds again.

总算看了这一季

对Don同学来说，前几集就两字：酒+色。 408是转折点，我觉得409里don和faye的关系有了很大进展。你看409开头两人对话里提到的chinese wall, Mr. Bond等等，提防界线也太明显了；到后来，Dr. Miller couldn't handle sally, 然后说i failed your test. 接着又说出自己的想法:i don't view it as failure... 我根本没想到faye这么快会和don谈论sally的问题，也没想到她是这么坦率。这是个好信号. 我发现自己不排斥dr. miller，甚至有点喜欢这个角色。我希望见到don-faye在一起。

我觉得faye身上有很多秘密，是个有故事的女人。还有，她的黑道老爹？她的前男友？ or她的备用男友？ i am intrigued. don前途是光明的，道路是曲折的。 411这集就叫chinese wall! 我打赌，don和faye肯定会因为各自的秘密有一场戏剧冲突，但那会是什么呢？又为了什么呢？又如何收场？ i am intrigued.

他敢随便就把dr miller 单独留在家里, 落落大方让人喜欢.

嘻嘻，我觉得是dr miller把don踢出了他的公寓，这样她可以用浴室。

I would miss Miss B. She is sooooo cool. "It’s a business of S&M" --- the line she delivered just before her death --- is my favorite.

另，聊几个mad men的细节：

（0） 408里， 1965年6月16 号，全新的don穿了那身suit, 打了根很酷的小黑领带出场的时候，背景是mick jagger在唱satisfaction. 我查了wiki, 这首歌是1965年6月6日在美国发行的。细节做得好真实！

don同学看到美女那段，也让人想起滚石乐队一年后发行的paint it black.

（1） 409里， sally给don做french toast时，把rum当成syrup。那个rum酒瓶我在别人家见过，是加勒比海一岛国的，外形是limbo drummer。limbo dance传统上是在葬礼时跳的。和这一集剧情很搭。

（2）faye miller是梦露入住精神病院时的化名。 mad men第二季时梦露死的时候放过她唱的一首i'm through with love. mad men里音乐的选择都是很有讲究的，难道matt weiner在很久前就埋下了伏笔？【很不靠谱的猜测的说】

（3）说实话，我一点不反感don的dear diary，虽然连他自己也说girlish

. 我自己就曾有过一个secret blog, 颇能理解don同学的想法

我认为这个情节写的很真实。

408开头，don在日记本上写下6/15/65的时候，有句旁白："my mind is a jumble. i can't organize my thoughts". 我想don是想通过writing帮助他thinking more clearly. 另外，don values his privacy extremely highly。我记得有一集，他因为他的情人乱嚼嘴巴而中断了关系。所以，这个dear diary也是顺理成章。但放心吧，这本日记写不长，等到don适应他的新生活后，小本本也该消失了。

我还没看新的阿福和花生呢。但我觉得心理医生不是在出馊主意么，花生有阿福这么个逻辑清楚思路敏捷的好朋友，哪用得着blog.

既然没看过就别信口开河了。

如果你从头看第四季，已经看过前面几集，就会知道 Don Draper 写日记是因为他的酗酒问题太严重了，已经影响到他的正常工作和生活，要开始节制自己，于是用日记调节思想。

如果你从头看第四季，已经看过前面几集，就会知道 Don Draper 写日记是因为他的酗酒问题太严重了，已经影响到他的正常工作和生活，要开始节制自己，于是用日记调节思想。

我以为don的酗酒问题大家都是知道的，don的生活走向黑暗，人处在depression情况下，很多时候是无法正常思考的。写rehab日记帮助自己理清思路不是很正常的么？写下来和胡思乱想是不一样的。他是个太private的人，没有朋友倾诉，就写日记。这难道也说错了？我很困惑。

了。他一开头非要抓着 Don 一起吃饭壮胆的时候我就觉得有点古怪。把英国老头形容得这么恐怖 ... The dad is so f***ing twisted (even though he looks like Santa Claus). Mad Men 以前介绍人物的背景历史都很 gentle，慢慢地一点一滴地揭示给观众，这次这么突然地爆出人物历史，我觉得好像在毫无防备的情况下脸上被扔了一手烂泥 ...

"You're so damned dashing!" 嘿嘿。Poor Lane.

他把 Lane 打倒的时候我已经倒抽凉气，结果还不算完，还要上去踩着他，好冷酷。难怪 Lane 非要留在纽约不肯回英国去。我又上 Mad Men 网站重看了那一段：老头一直彬彬有礼，面不改色，语气平稳，对 Toni 的态度还非常文雅，相当considerate -- "I don't want to ruin your evening." 简直是个温厚长者。这老头是我见过的最 creepy 的电视人物！What a sadistic monster ...

本季一开头就告诉大家 Joan 已经堕胎过两次或三次了，我觉得她这次肯定是把孩子留下了。而且 Roger 也非常靠不住，她老公多半也回不来了，最后思想传统的她做上了单亲妈妈。

真是山雨欲来呀，Pete 的四百万 account 没了，Roger 的大户也没了，他们要破产了。Pete 如果知道 Lucky Strikes 的事，是绝对不会放弃 American Aviation 的，他老说“我有家要养！” Don 这下子可欠下了 Pete 的大笔人情债。

不过话又说回来，lane 这个解放的步子也迈的太大了，要说领一非洲小国公主啥的，除了黑点别的都算高攀，他爹可能还想想。他弄一兔女郎来！就是白兔女郎他爹都得跟他急。六十年代兔女郎难道名声很好吗？顶多也就跟今天的脱衣舞女一样吧。lane 就是存心反叛，迟来的青春期。老头儿一看，好嘛，难怪儿子在新大陆的花花世界堕落的不想回来了，当爹的得唤醒他！揍！

I don't know anything about this, but apparently in the 60s the Playboy Club was a very expensive place catering to very wealthy men. It was no ordinary strip club. Lane was obviously showing off to his father how successful he is now by taking him to the Playboy Club, not just to show off his girlfriend. I'm more surprised that the club had an "integrated" staff.

Me too! Come to think about it, PlayBoy was considered very edgy place in the 60s.
No matter how high class the club itself, those waitresses were from a different class, servants at best. So taht should be very offensive for his dad. Do you remember Lane's wife? A totally stuckup.
Anyway....

I bet Don and Faye are going to get married by the end of this season, not because I think they are great together, but because the writers are pushing them this way, almost hastily. They slept together only a few times, but both already had a breakdown in front of each other! Gee...

Duck Philip is DONE, OVER, TOASTED. I don't want my fav character to have anything to do with him!

en,我一直在追,第四季的BETTY太凶狠了,打女儿那劲头,这么可爱美貌的女儿,怎么下得去手.第一二季对她还有同情,现在看到她就想快进.这部戏里金发女郎们都有股假惺惺的味道.

这个剧作者多爱JOAN啊，可是偏偏给她安排这种命运。第八集Joan跟Peggy在电梯里的对话，让Peggy觉得自己很傻，可是我倒觉得Joan这种老式女秘书的含蓄影响力的方式，已经不如Peggy的直接了当有力量了。关键是Peggy做的是“男人”的工作，而且做得很好，多少赢得了同事的尊敬。

啊啊啊，megan 很有心机，我预感 don 又要两面瞒的过日子了。

我失去了对faye 的任何敬意。

依我看，利用职业关系获取的不算独门也不算非常内部的消息给don 搭个桥，只能说是有点灰色地带，不算什么大事。但是她既然这么坚决的认为这是违反职业道德的，就不应该干。尤其还梨花黛玉的表示“我本来不想干但是想到你在我生活中的地位。。”靠，我马上看不起她。
然后don 又睡了个秘书！这个megan可没上个秘书那么柔顺，是有备而来，要踩着peggy 的足迹打算用身体开道睡上去的！可怜的peggy真是不明不白的要背一辈子黑锅了。but I am happy peggy is finally comfortable with her sexuality and having fun

roger 太招人讨厌了。难得看到joan 这么憔悴。。。
我喜欢对手广告公司里那个超级smooth 的丑角！话一套一套跟流水似的说出来，都跟真的似的！太有喜剧感了！

Good point. Megan could bring on a lot more dramatic conflicts than Allison did. But it will be impossible to deal with in 2 episodes.
