昨天晚上CNN 的节目里，Paula Zahn 出门度假去了，她的候补，长的很伶俐的棕发女郎，在那儿盘问某小网站公司站主：“你是幸福的已婚人士，对吧？如果你发现你老婆出轨，会感受如何？”
那男人坦然的说：“我的老婆如果要出轨，在网上，在公司，还是跟邻居，都是一样的，就说明我们婚姻有问题，我会自我检讨，跟她交流。”低下一行大字：ashleymadison.com
我心说这是什么人？这么具有东方妇女的传统美德？接着看了一会明白过来，挖塞，原来这人的网站是个线上约会网站--专门给找婚外情的已婚人士开辟一片新天地。
棕发女郎抨击他：“你不觉得你的网站给想搞婚外情的人打开了方便之门，鼓励了这个现象么？”
那人特正义的说：“我这儿早就说明，这是最后的解决手段，last resort, 婚姻有问题的人应该多交流，找婚姻专家，实在没有办法了，才来我们这里。”
棕发女郎说：“有没有人来跟你说，他/她真后悔上了你的网站？”
那人斩钉截铁：“没有。”
棕发女郎又假装很正义的问了些明显带贬义的问题，那人滴水不漏，显然一点没有被羞辱倒的神情，她很气馁地总结说：“哇，如果我有意见，我会说。不过我是个记者，我应该没有意见。”
一边儿假装公正，一边儿假装按奈不住要让观众都知道她有很强的正义感和道德观，逮到软柿子猛捏，一碰到强硬无耻派就束手无策，靠, CNN 现在简直就是披着自由公正新闻台外衣的狐狸台。真看不下去。不过没办法，美国人民爱看，拦不住。

I am never fond of Paula Zahn, either.

I used to watch Anderson Cooper 360 during dinner (7-8 pm), and shut the TV off when Paula Zahn Now started at 8pm. But AC was given the flagship 10pm time slot a few months ago.

Yeah, CNN used to be left leaning, but in the last few years, it's moving more and more toward the right. I heard MSNBC is still quite fair.

Are you kidding? I have not watched MSNBC since Iraqi war. The way they referred to US troops as "Our boys" just freaked me out. CNN at least pretend to be fair!
The other thing really pisses me off is CNN put Nancy Grace on between 7-8 on Headline News channel. I hate hate it. CNNHN used to be a quickly convinent way to catch up with all the news when I got home from work. Now I turned on TV and there was always this freaking annoying woman pretending to be the Goddess of Grassroot Justice.

Nancy Grace looks like a female lion. Plus she cuts people off more often and in a ruder way than Bill O'Reilly. Geez, isn' t that something to brag about?

Really? I have no idea MSNBC is also that bad. Well, I don't watch TV these days, so I have no clue. Perhaps that's the only way not to get pissed off.

I listen to NPR news too. The other day, we were at a friend's house, and they mentioned that they listen to NPR news, since "that's the only news you can listen to nowerdays." My husband thought that this can be used as a defining point to group people.

NPR也没几天好蹦达了。CPB，就是管NPR和PBS的总公司，现在的头头换成了一个保守派人士，而且据说这两年自上而下搞了一些内部调查，收集的数据都是NPR上反映(perceived)左派观点是否太多，是否被相应的右派观点平衡("fair and balanced" as in FoxNews standards?)，等等。不需要政府来censor，他们自己内部就开始搞肃反了，真是自觉的好孩子啊。
