某天一感情脆弱的MM质问我为什么要be upset with her,我说没有啊。

。。不过后来就都改"sounds good to me" 了。

英国有些公司的姑娘大嫂们,跟客户打交道的时候爱说:ok, I will sort this out for you, I will check the order for you... for you...

来回几次终于搞明白伊们说not bad就等于我们说very good。 后来为了免得再有误会,伊把not bad 上升到not bad at all.

You are right. I've never been called doll or hon at work -- perhaps because I don't look the part!

The woman who called me a doll never met me in person. So it was not my outfit that caused it.

I had the geekest nightmare last night.
A broker called me out of blue saying we had scheduled a testing at the moment, and I totally did not remember. In panic mode I said ok, and quickly looked up information and set up the connection. But for some reason, I was setting up the connection on production line instead of test line. And for some even worse reason, I set up it in reverse and somehow it messed up the dns server in my firm, so everthing (in production) came to a halt. People running around "what's wrong? Call system". While I sat there totally knew it was not system dept's fault. But I did not have time to explain so I quickly cancelled the change. And then I called up system, embarrassed, of cause, to admit it was my fault. And they were too nice to say anything, which made me feel even worse....
When I woke up and realized it was just a dream, I felt so ....
