１，harry potter 7
昨天看完了这本长达７００多页的书。情节呢，基本上都知道了－－－我看书习惯是先看开头，再看结尾大结局，最后看中间，这样看书好比冬天吃冰期凌，欣赏的是纯粹的滋味－－－读后感就是这个作者实在是太爱男主角了，居然就能千方百计的让他活下来。这套书最大的缺点就是书中人物没什么长进，harry一直鲁莽而感情用事，看了让人生气。不过这个，我深刻的反躬自省说，可能是因为我老现在中年了，广大青少年的读后感恐怕跟我完全不同。

２，阿泰斗家沙
最近还颇看了几本儿叵罗探案书，发现叵罗系列书可以分为两大类，一类是叵罗必须存在的，一类是叵罗就是个摆设的。cards on the table属于第一类，一本书下来只见叵罗东奔西跑卖弄聪明，最后使诈骗的凶手认了罪。sad cypress－－－就是那个没有刺的玫瑰的故事，属于第二类，风格类似她的严肃文学。我看过她一个中篇小说集，有大量的内心独白，文风非常细腻，口气颇绝望。其实这两类书都写的很仔细，人物描写精确，无论篇幅长短，都告诉读者这个人现在如何，曾经如何。都挺好看的。

What 中心思想 is there in HP then? If there is one at all?

People have also recommended Ian Rankin and Ruth Rendall to me, haven't got around to those yet. Have just started reading Joanna Trollope (not detective though), she is indeed quite good.

小白你也这样啊！ 我这样做曾被人批评为没耐心，但其实我只是不想被没必要得刁胃口，书不是还一页一页得都看了吗。
我最近看了George Orwell的Down and out in Paris and London, 是看了Bourdain在新书Nasty Bits里强烈的推荐后买来看的。 书里细腻得描写了穷人被压迫在底下无翻身之日的绝望，跟小K最近读的那本(名字忘了)一个意思。

不挺好的嘛，说到底是本孩子看的童话书，爱与忠诚还有勇气最终战胜，给孩子们 树立生活的信心......嘛
看完HP,我同事还推荐了The Golden compass，才订了书就发现，似乎也在拍电影。

Fairy tale? More like propaganda... No I do not look for a theme when reading Harry Potter, or any books, I just read for fun.

I don't think anyone LOOKS FOR a theme when reading, but one can't help noticing a theme afterward.

BBC4上正在放关于Stephen Fry的专题节目，HP电影里的演员纷纷出场评论：Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh （Gilderoy Lockhart ），Imelda Staunton （Dolores Umbridge ）。还有JK Rowling，她可是难得在电视上出来的。Prince Charles也露了一小脸。当然还有他的老朋友Hugh Laurie。
