What a great year for governors!

Sarah Palin 突然宣布辞职不干阿拉斯加州长 --- 在七月三日星期五，大部分人独立日放假的一天。诡异。坐等内幕爆出来。

没俩星期之前，南卡州州长失踪到阿根廷去追女仔了，这两天又承认除了南美热女郎之外，他还搞过很多别的女人。不过他拒不辞职。

在这之前，IL 州长 Rod Blagoevitch 上演他的好戏，虽然不想辞职，但是人都被抓进局子里了。

相比之下纽约州长 Eliot Spitzer 简直是圣人！他一定后悔死了不该辞职的。

I would love to see a sex scandal involving Sarah Palin and David Letterman!

It would make great movie -- complete opposite but attracted to each other, a very public fight ended with his appology, and one party when they both had quite a bit to drink.... After many years of marriage to a good looking, dumb, shallow, snowmobile driving deer hunting husband, she found this old, skinny, smart, witty guy strangely unresistable.....

sarah palin不至于去hiking，倒是很有可能去跑步。她是个很出色的跑者，能在零下30度出门跑，能在4小时内完成马拉松，至少我做不到，我认识的绝大多数人都做不到。

Not to mention Jewish. That would be a classic screwball comedy script. I would pay good money to see it.

Seriously, nothing dazzles a woman more effectively than 1) funny and 2) music. Ugly rockers and comedians can get any girl they want, followed by poets and artists...

With lots lots of sexually charged flirtation and arguments, but no action until last minute. Lots of shopping scenes in Saks Fifth. Classic chick lit stuff!

The formula is etched in stone: They meet, they fight, they fall in love, they go to bed, they have doubts, they face oppositions, they split up, and they reunite.

The climax would be, after all her political advisors and conservative old leaders in her party told her to break it off with him (or risk losing her voter base), she chooses her career over romance. He leaves in a rage. She regrets it afterward and rushes into his studio during the show and announces, ON TV, that she loves him and chooses him over her political career. They kiss. She carries him out in the "Officer and Gentleman" fashion (Richard Gere carrying Debra Winger).

And that's not the end. She wakes up the next morning to find that her popularity shoots into the sky with new-found voter base among women and middle-aged Jewish men! She gets the man and saves her career.

Oh Gosh, I can almost hear typical sarah palin unscripted 'straight talk'. And finally, women might forgive her because 'she sounds totally in love!'

可是，这需要辞职来做吗？她难道要参加下届奥运会马拉松？
此人倒真是值得好好写一本儿。
她发言里貌似是说要多留时间给家庭？

厄，我回帖是因为刚刚在runner's world里看到对她的一篇采访。纯粹是从跑步者角度来说。跟政治什么无关。她作为生过5个孩子的45岁的中年人，记录是相当让人惊讶的。我远比她年轻，耐力却不如她，所以很敬佩。那些狗血的国家大事，我并没有太多兴趣。

BTW， runner's world以前也采访过纽约州的圣人Eliot Spitzer. 当然也不全是丑闻人物。村上春树和Lisa Ling也都上过。

Eliot Spitzer家住中央公园边上，每天晨跑。
