恶人谷

I've been a big fan of Leonard Cohen for years. Only several weeks ago, by chance I learned about his ongoing tour and got the ticket two days before his concert. It was one of the happiest nights of my life We gave the old man at least 10 standing ovations.
Some of my friends never heard of him. When they ask me to describe his music, I said, it's very depressing and heavy, yet beautiful and touching. They gave me this look like "we always knew you are weird"
While one friend had enough faith in my taste and came along to the concert. She was moved to tears...It was my lucky night---he sang all my favorites, like "famous blue raincoat", "a thousand kisses deep", and "that don't make it junk"

I love his sexy voice! Would love to hear him live!

我也非常喜欢，而且更喜欢他现在的声音。他的诗歌也很好，我买过一本。我最最喜欢的一首《A thousand Kisses Deep》，歌词也很有魅力

奇怪，迈克喜欢他，提起好几次，我就是不中魔。一般迈克喜欢的我都蛮喜欢的。

他10月份将在Madison Square Garden开演唱会，我很动心。
想问一下听过现场的同学们，你们去的演唱会是在大音乐厅还是小的？他的音乐比较intimate and quiet，会不会不适合在大音乐厅跟一大群人一起听呢？

The concert I went to was at our local Nokia Theater, which holds thousands of people. It was a great atmosphere since most people there were his loyal fans. Most of Leonard's concerts are for large audience. You will love it!

上周五去听了Leonard Cohen的演唱会，非常感动，这几天那些旋律总在脑海里挥之不去。

他特别诚恳谦逊，双眼微合在帽沿的阴影下，双膝跪在舞台上，缓缓深情诉说。70多岁的老人了，连唱3个多钟头。他介绍了两次乐队和伴唱，说这个人impeccable, 那个人irreplaceable, 他是prince of precision, 她是incomparable, 还有他是the soul of our production.
LC还对观众特别体贴，开头说：我知道你们来这里很不容易，交通堵塞，还要爬这么高，我真的很感谢你们。结尾说：大家开车回家的时候千万小心。——对比上个月听的U2演唱会，临时改期还迟到，Bono也没对大家说一声对不起，更觉得LC的难得。

说起来他的声音其实不怎么好，也不怎么有技巧，尤其是跟伴唱们相比。可是偏偏他的声音仿佛带着魔力一样触及灵魂——我这才明白什么叫做killing me softly with his songs. 他唱到Hallelujah的时候我突然之间泪如泉涌，之后就一直涌个不停。有些歌词在家听没觉得什么，现场听忽然醍醐灌顶，比如：There's a crack in everything / That's how the light gets in.

有人喜欢在他70岁生日时向他致敬的那张碟么？《Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man》。我超喜欢。印象最深的是采访他的几个片段：他怎么跟随一个日本禅师做了几年和尚修习禅；他朗读他的自传中文版在台湾出版时特意写的序（有夏天灼热的气息。。。）。很多的歌背后的故事。所有唱他的歌的歌手演绎都有自己的风格但又都那么好，特别是Rufus Wainwright。
对很多喜欢他的人来说，这张碟也是催泪弹。

基本上他的lyric比较stir your soul的说。
