I will write a review about this interesting book when I have a bit more time, but for now you can find a little more about the book from a Fresh Air interview with the author Jonah Lehrer:

Actually Mr. Lehrer's book argues (based on neuropsychological research), that humans (not Vulcans

) are very bad at working with logic.
Jonah Lehrer is still not even 30 years old and studied English at Oxford (!) as a Rhodes Scholar.

Ahh, I read English at Oxford... Sounds like a line from "An Education"...
We humans ARE probably very bad at logics. Let's go and mix with Vulcans! .. if we can find one as cool as Spock, that is. Otherwise I choose chocolate flavour out of those three featured on the book cover

Me TOO!
I wouldn't mind breeding with Spock or any other Vulcan as cute as he is (both the Leonard Nemoy version and the current version are cute).

Aye, there is 'mixing' on more innocent terms than specific breeding activities

We might rub off traces of logics by enjoying drinks with them on company expenses

You are right. I was wrong.
Maybe it is free for Vulcans.
