The fall movie season, ie, the post-TIFF artsy Oscar-bait movie season.

让我最有兴趣的片子是 David Cronenberg 导演的 A Dangerous Method，讲弗洛伊德和荣格和一个夹在二人之间的女病人的故事，三个人物分别由 Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender, Keira Knightley 扮演。据说是真事儿。感恩节时公映。

另外一个有点兴趣的是 George Clooney 自导自演的 The Ides of March，并列主演是现在当红小生 Ryan Gosling 。情节不是很吸引我，大约是讲竞选与背叛的情节，看 trailer 和片名，我猜是男人永恒的杀父情结。可是，咳咳，他同时拉来 Phil Hoffman 和 Paul Giamatti 助阵，甚至 Jeffrey Wright 也被塞了进去，我都不好意思不看哪 ...

神奇的维多利亚时代出现啥事儿都不奇怪。那么多被压抑的力比多。。。

最近听到关于维多利亚时代的震撼知识: 阿尔伯特王子穿环是真事，但是目的跟你们现代人的WS想法根本没有关系！人家穿环是方便挂个链子, 拴在腿上, 免于不雅观凸显在裤子的轮廓上。

没看到电影预告，不过我对盗版业者有相当的期待，相信不久之后三里屯就有碟卖。中国有很多的新福尔莫斯的粉丝，再加上无敌的Collin Firth，市场需求相当大。

今天看了 The Guard。的确很逗，不过口音很重，听着有点费劲，而且幽默的风格很爱尔兰，墨墨黑的幽默，很 deadpan。

不知 Don Cheadle 能否掌握爱尔兰口音，应该没问题。在 YouTube 上找到他讲广东话的片段，是我听见过最标准的非本地人模仿的口音（It's not just his accent, which was spot on, but also the ease with which he delivers the lines in Cantonese.）：

最近在复习 Due South。第一季还没看完已经出现了成名前的 Mark Ruffalo 和 Ryan Phillippe，不过都没有 Paul Gross 帅啊。

昨天看了war horse 的舞台剧，非常好，把我给弄哭了好几次，出来觉得特压抑，然后想想至少现在没有世界大战了，又觉得十分万幸。

斯皮而拨哥把它改拍成电影，圣诞档期。看了下电影的片花觉得跟舞台剧不是一个味儿，就是典型的斯皮而拨哥美国大片味儿，当然在大片里肯定算好看的。BC帅哥在里面串个角色, 片花里露了一小脸

今天去看了 Ides of March，觉得比较一般。看过 A Song of Ice & Fire 系列之后，这种简单的政治斗争都显得非常小儿科了。而且，剧本甚不严谨，很多地方不合情理，人物描绘亦嫌苍白。浪费了诸位好演员。

真无聊，就算是非要塞个美国小子进来当主角，不能塞个有点个性的演员么？美国真的是没有30岁以下可以看的男演员。

不过，为了 Matthew MacFadyen 无法抗拒的声音，我也只好乖乖地掏钱包了 --- 看上去减肥了嘛。It is no surprise that HE is the designated voice over in the trailer!

今天去看了一下三个火枪手。好扯啊，居然玩空战。因为实在是太胡扯了，反而让我看得兴高采烈。而且 Mila Jovovich 演的女间谍十分英明神武，威风八面，必须加分（导演是她老公）。

演大大娘的美国小子是以前演过 Percy Jackson 电影的，难怪我一看见他那张毫无定义的肉脸就恶向胆边生。过去看见 Percy Jackson 的片花也是立刻产生恶感。既无演技又无相貌，个性气质层次统统欠奉，这种人怎么是混上的银幕呢？

当然，MacFadyen 的声音得到了充分的利用，就值回票价了。

下周将上映的 J Edgar ，Clint Eastwood 导演，Leonardo DiCaprio 主演，关于联邦调查局局长 J Edgar Hoover （被普遍认为是50-70年代美国最有实权的人）的生平传记片。情节呢？It's a f**king love story ... as in "the love that dare not speak its name." 真是太狗血了。

Not only that, but Hoover had a one true love, who worked for him and did everything with him and even went on vacation with him. When JEH died, he left his house and all his money to this true love. 你得去看看这片儿，据说里面还有两个人深情对视，含情脉脉之类的戏，还有JEH的娘（Judi Dench）教训儿子要遵守道德什么的，总之都是最老套的桥段，连我这个基本不看BL小说的人都知道是俗套。

里奥纳多出演，唉，我圆满了，我圆满了。其实我觉得Viggo也挺适合这个角色的，他最适合这种苦情暗恋内敛又深情的戏码了，而且外貌十分合适演FBI局长嘛。
下周上演是不是？我一定去看，握拳。

这个导演 Andrea Arnold 在 UK 的独立影片界颇有名气，得过不少奖，拍过 Fish Tank (Michael Fassbender)，不过她的风格至今都是非主流的。

我觉得画面挺荒原气氛的，但是这个Heathcliff看上去很纯情的样子，不够坏和可怕。实际上所有大小银幕上的Heathcliff都不够坏和可怕，过火了（凶and/or激情）只让人觉得假透了。当然实际上小说里的Heathcliff也给我有点虚浮的感觉。

我同意，剧本有点怪怪的。我看完了笑说搞intern 和atheist 应该倒过来，让美国选民知道h搞了intern只要跟太太一起上几个电视采访十有八九会被原谅，不信基督教传出去政治生涯就彻底完了！
