[问题]大家听说过Escrow Service这回事儿吗？

是这样的，我想在网上买一个人贴出来的东西，他／她告知我要通过Escrow Service进行交易。然后Escrow Service给我发了长长的一封信要求我付款到一个叫Nigeria的国家。我深切怀疑这是一个scam,不过想问问大家有没有过通过这个 service购买东西的经历。what if im wrong...

Don't send money to Nigeria. Period. You read a bit more about how 90% of the scam originate from Nigeria if you google "scam Nigeria escrow service" if you are interested. But the common wisdom is, if any online transaction is remotely related to Nigeria, be extremely careful, it is 99% scam.

escrow service有各种各样的，但最好是回避来历不明的交易网站。让他用paypal

有一个经典的ebay scam，用伪造的escrow网站骗东西的，结果被卖主识破，狠狠涮了一把。前因后果请见：
