I can't listen to all the talking-heads on TV without screaming in frustration. What a bunch of tapeworms. People voted for Hillary Clinton because they want to vote for her -- but the idiot "experts" insist that her win was caused by her "choking up". They seem to have a very strange concept of cause-and-effect. I faint and faint.

Yeah, those political pundits are pretty pathetic, they were all saying "choking up" would hurt her before the election.
It's also really difficult to watch her being "humanized". Some bimbo reporter was dispatched to interview her, asking her if she worries about her weight, her hair, and does she watch any reality shows just like ''the rest of us". It frustrates me to no end. This country is so populist, can't stand to vote for a woman who's smart and ambitious.

Obama had a large lead in the pre-voting polls. It might have convinced many independents to choose to go over to the Republican camp and vote for John McCain instead. NH has traditionally been high in independents, and this year especially.
Who cares. The game is still early and the race is tight. All the more excitement for spectators. What fun is it if there is no competition?!

It's a moot point. McCain will NEVER get the endorsement of the Republican establishment.
Virginia is also an open-primary state. A friend of mine keeps urging me to register ASAP so that I can vote for McCain in Feb.
Even though he "claims" to be pro-life and pro-capital punishment, I doubt he will make an active effort to sabotage Roe v Wade. He's just saying this to please the evangelical voters and the GOP establishment to get the nomination. But it's all in vain because his party does not trust him at all.

I honestly don't care if Obama, Hilary or MaCain wins. Since I can't vote, the burden of making the decision is not on my shoulder, and I am just watching it as entertainment. In that sense I prefer Obama just because he is charming. But really, anyone is a big step up from what we have now so there is nothing to lose.

I am firmly in Hillary Clinton's camp because I believe she is a Machiavellian, stone-cold, ruthless, pragmatic, tough bitch who will get things done. Obama seems too academic, feel-good, and "soft" to me. You know how I feel about academics...
She's a butt-kicking bad-ass, but a practical one who has learned to fake femininity if necessary. American people, especially Democrats, can't stomach a female bad-ass, but that's just what I want!

No different from other candidates. Actually, the more specific you tell the public, the easier it is for your enemies to attack you specifically. First rule of politics -- be vague, be very vague, and lie if necessary. That's how campaigns work in democracy. That's what people want. 说多错多。 Honesty is duly punished.我听他演讲最大感想就是全都是假大空啊

PBS Frontline did a very illuminating program on Dick Cheney's motives for the current war -- Cheney's Law. Explains a lot. I recommend it. No, I URGE you to watch it.

It's absolutely terrifying to watch this program.
A few very powerful men were involved in the Ford administration during Vietnam War (none saw combat like McCain did) and have always believed that Ford made the mistake to withdraw from Vietnam. This time they were determined to "get it right." Psychologically, it was an exercise to prove that they "could have won the Vietnam War" if only they had control like they did this time.

I feel the opposite. Even Romney and Huckabee have their bright points. Anyone is better than what we have now. So far no frontrunner seems as insane as ... (except perhaps Giulianni, although he's fading quickly)
