推荐几个收音机节目

每天晚上听一会儿podcast收音机节目。

Marketplace每天都有。周六的Wait wait don't tell me，总是舍不得听，听完了就得等下周了。

周日的This American Life也挺喜欢的。每次围绕一个中心思想，分3到4个Act讲几个故事。

昨天听了一期旧节目，叫The Super （01.05.2007，323）。没在大城市的公寓楼里住过，Super指的是什么要听了节目才明白，原来是superintendent的意思。这次的三个Act，每个都很精彩。听得我直乐。一边听，一边猜：几位纽约客听了不知作何感想？

去年还有三期印象深刻。一个是 In the Shadow of the City（02.23.2007，307），其中一个Act讲几个小伙子在纽约水上迷路的故事。另外一个是Nice Work If You Can Get It （04.06.2007，329），讲了几个人不同寻常的职业。第三个是Duty Calls（06.01.2007，334），讲述了一个破碎家庭后续的故事，很难过听得。

i really liked the one on the guy who got life for a murder he didn't commit and the people who tried to get him out. i also heard one on death that was disturbing and great. but i also get irritated with this american life sometimes - some of it is just self-absorbed urban neurosis.

My recent favorite is Prairie Home Companion. The podcast edition only contains "The News from Lake Wobegon" , fake news from the little town where "all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average." told by Keillor. Hilarious.

Prairie Home Companion is my all time favorite! There was a movie in 2006 Summer called the same name. Prairie Home and some other old fine actors and actresses starred in the movie. Too bad I was already in China at the time.

我也喜欢american life，感觉它特别真实，真实的人讲真实的事真实的感情，哪怕不是大家希望的那种结局。

Yeah it was an interesting movie with a lot of great acting. not much a story line though.

I love them too. My other favorites include "The Story" & "The splendid table" from APM.
