因为事情可以更糟。我一直在担心哪个欧洲银行会把它的国家带垮，然后呼拉拉带倒一片欧洲银行，然后美国政府都撑不住了，呼啦啦带倒一片美国银行。

而且他们事实上在慢慢拆CDS 这个定时核弹。ICE已经搞了第一个CDS CLEARING CENTER。据说现在outstanding 的CDS 也已经少了一半。

我觉得救市还是有效果的。虽说和季节有关系，现在又开始有牛人手里同时接3，4个offer了。不下猛药拦住崩溃，大多数的公司都会垮。
上星期还有个PE的人跟我那炫耀，说我们是零负债，手里全是现金。问题是市场上那么多坏债环环相扣，那么容易检便宜呀。所以需要时间去选出好的来，救市的钱应该就是用来买时间了吧。
很多人觉得不忿的是06，07年街上的业绩很大一部分是这些衍生品堆出来的，那时候几个billion的发Bonus，现在出问题了，却没办法把发了的再让那些人吐出来。就霉到腐一个人进了监狱，他公司的那些人钱还是拿了的。

我觉得很多公司都趁火打劫不给员工涨工资,或者甚至降薪,然后CEO们给自己大发奖金...AIG只是其中的一个.

And I bet he could. I have no doubt that President Obama could do that.

SPITZER: Yes, yes. The outrage is legitimate, but it is being fomented by sort of a faux populism by many on Capitol Hill who saw this coming, who knew this was going on.

And so, I look at them and I say, "Come on, guys. You're supposed to be more mature. Express the anger, but then say, how do we solve it? Don't just throw more oil on the fire."

And I am worried about that. And I'm worried that it will be destructive to our capitalist system. And I've said since the very beginning, that my energy was directed at preserving and protecting capitalism.

The libertarians didn't understand it. Populists don't understand it. But capitalism is what we want to preserve.

他真是粒JERK。他以前做NY DA控告美林和AIG的大案子时，采取的手段就是使劲骚扰当事人，搞的对方不得不和解，所以名声特别坏。这时候装的很清白的说：我从来不把个人恶魔化，我都是追着企业查的。

这人在家养了一年又精神焕发的出来了，坦然的为过去的事情道个谦，意思是我家人都原谅我了，轮不到你们说三道四。不过说实在的他也真是没干什么，睡妓女都是自己掏的钱。。。。就是不幸被逮住了。嗯，在spitzer 看起来都不那么糟糕的时候，你知道，事情的确是很糟糕了。

不啊，他们这样的最后才真是赌场老板，幕后大黑。不管是资产阶级赢钱还是无产阶级分红，钱最后全都贡献给律师费了，动不动就几百上千成亿万，哪一边还都觉得他们是咱们这一边儿的人，为咱办事儿的。

district attorney 是公务员。咱使他们不用额外花钱。Spitzer 就是喜欢扮演上帝，他不缺钱－－他爹是个犹太大地主。人民付的那点工资还不够他嫖的呢。

PBS的这期Frontline现在来教育大众，算Bush政府的总账呢。不知道有多少人会看着一期，给大家关注的health care reform造势呢。恩，越来越喜欢帅哥了，真了解舆论的力量啊，想想我们老太太可能还真没体力收拾这个烂摊子。
