Listening to American actors talk on interviews is usually either boring or embarrassing, or both, but she is so smart and thoughtful that but for the accent I thought I was listening to a British stage actor. Americans generally speak very poorly and dumbly. I remember seeing Ed Norton on Charlie Rose, umming all the way and could barely get any insight out of his mouth --- and he was from Harvard! Another famous Harvard alumnus actor, David Duchovy is also a whiner and boring talker. The gap in speech quality and vocabulary between US and UK representatives can be large indeed. (I don't need to name names, do I?)
