四月四日是ＭＬＫ被暗杀四十周年，最近在各处看到一些纪念的资料。本来我对６０年代的民权运动也很不了解，所以收集一下几个链接网站跟有兴趣的同学分享一下。

今天晚上八点The History Channel 播出一个两小时的传记片Ｋｉｎｇ，网站是：http://www.history.com/minisites/king （含有不少新闻实录片段）。

NPR 的报道里有很多当年目击者或者运动参与者的亲身叙述，我觉得最为珍贵。现在的评论啥啥的多有马后炮之嫌，没有亲身经历过当时的状况和社会形势，现在的人无法想象那时的情况有多黑暗，矛盾有多激烈。与其对现在的五六手的结论和评语照单全收，吃别人消化反刍出来的信息，不如直接而全面地收集一下二手三手的资料，然后自己下结论。

Wikipedia 不算权威历史资料，不过含有一些基本的时间表和大事记，包括Brown vs Board of Education, Rosa Parks and Montgomery Bus Boycott, Black Panther movement, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, March on Washington, Memphis Sanitation Workers' Strike，等等。

But I want you to know tonight that we as a people will get to the Promise Land."

He was shot dead the next day.
